The house
One counter. One oven. The same corner since 2016.
Marlowe is a single room on Rua da Rosa. Pastry is finished before the door opens, the espresso is dialled in twice a day, and after four the counter makes room for a glass of wine.

The door
Come in without a reservation on weekdays. Weekends fill the window tables — write ahead if you want one of those.

The cup
Order at the counter. We will tell you what is baked and what is brewed. The cup arrives at the table, not in a numbered queue.

The stay
Laptops are welcome until noon on the long banquette. After that the room is for talking, reading, and the second cup.

Not for coffee. Walk in. Window tables on Saturday and Sunday go quickly — use the form if you want one held until noon. Groups of six or more should write ahead.
